Frequently asked questions about UX/UI design

What is the difference between UX and UI?
UX (user experience) is how the product works: journeys, organization, how easily a task gets done. UI (user interface) is what people see: layout, colors, buttons, typography. The two are designed together.
How much does UX/UI design cost?
The price depends on the number of screens, how much user research is needed and whether a design system is included. That is why we work on quote. After scoping, you receive an itemized estimate before any work starts.
What do we receive at the end?
The source Figma files, organized and annotated: wireframes, desktop and mobile mockups, clickable prototype and, depending on scope, the design system. Your developers can use them directly.
Can you audit an interface that already exists?
Yes. We analyze the journeys, spot what blocks users and rank the issues by importance. You receive concrete recommendations, which we can then turn into new mockups.
Do we need a specification to get started?
No. Scoping exists to set your goals, your users and the scope. If you already have documents, an old mockup or an existing site, we start from there.
Can you also build the interface?
Yes. We build websites and software, and we can develop the interface we designed. You can also hand the mockups to your own development team.
