Have my work judged by my ideal client

Build an agent in Claude that steps into your ideal client's shoes, then scores your website, design or video against a precise scale before your real client sees it.

What this skill does

When you build a website, page, visual or video, you judge it with your own eyes. The problem: you are not your client. A small business owner does not react like a designer, a self-employed nurse does not think like an industrial buyer.

This skill installs in Claude Code a judging agent that:

  1. asks you first to build your persona precisely (who they are, what they want, what irritates them, what decides them);
  2. then watches your work as they would: website screenshots, mockups, video frame by frame, copy;
  3. scores it out of 100 points, criterion by criterion, with their immediate reactions;
  4. tells you what to fix first to convince them.

Example: for a busy small business owner, a video with garish colours, epileptic pacing and childish tone will lose points on credibility and clarity, even if it is technically well done.

When to use it

  • Before launching a website or homepage.
  • Before presenting a mockup or video to a client.
  • When you are torn between two versions of a design or copy.
  • To check that content speaks to the right target, not just to you.

You need Claude Code (the agent runs in your project and can read your files, screenshots and videos).

Example result

Fictional example. Persona: Philippe, 52, runs a transport company with 40 staff, watches videos on his phone between calls.

Judge's instant reaction: "The first three seconds are colours everywhere and music jumping around, I do not know what you are selling. The animated character is for my grandkids, not me. At 0:14 you finally talk about online quotes, that interests me, but I have already tuned out."

Score: understanding 8/20, credibility 9/20, relevance 11/15, tone 4/15, effort 6/10, drive to act 7/15, memory 2/5. Total 47/100. I skip.

The 3 priority changes:

  1. Open with the line "Your customers want a quote at 10 p.m., you reply the next day" instead of the animated logo.
  2. Replace the drawn character with a real screenshot of the software in use.
  3. Slow down the edit: one idea every 3 seconds, not every second.

What not to change: the bit where you see a real transport operator using the tool.

After corrections, new score: 76/100, "I keep it in mind".

Going further

Create one persona per target (manager, buyer, end user) and have each piece of content judged by the one it is meant for. Keep your persona.md files in your projects: they also help you write copy from the start. For a website or video designed from the outset for your ideal client, Skyward can help you with that.
